Mr. Resnick’s experience makes him an intergral part of team at the ADA Defense Clinic, A Law Firm. Mr. Resnick has handled complex civil litigation matters. He has successfully defended corporations in U.S. District Court for matters that include ADA complaints against business owners.
Mr. Resnick hails from Binghamton, New York, but he spent much of his younger years in Rockville, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C. After graduating high school, Mr. Resnick attended George Washington University, graduating with distinction in 1979 with a B.A. in journalism and a minor in speech and drama.
After college, he attended John Marshall Law School in Chicago, graduating in 1982. He was also a member of Stevens Court and an associate justice of the Moot Court Team. Mr. Resnick then moved to Boca Raton. He became a member of the Florida Bar in 1982.
Prior to going into private practice and joining the team at The Ada Defense Clinic, A Law Firm, Mr. Resnick worked for such prestigious firmst as Fetterman and Associates, a personal injury firm; Baskin and Sears, a national law firm; Weiss and Handler, P.A., a commercial litigation firm.
In addition to his experience as a commercial and corporate litigator, Mr. Resnick has geen general counsel to two entrepreneurs who owned such businesses as SeaEscape, All Around Travel Club, Links Direct and about 60 other corporations. Mr. Resnick managed a team of about 60 staff attorneys who handled everything from contracts and administrative filings to hearings and litigation.
